Deputy Minister hosts Youth Services Expo in George
The expo, held at Zone 9 Hall in Ward 15 on Thursday, brings together government departments, Sector Education and Training Authorities, banks, educational institutions and youth development organisations.
The initiative aims to give young people access to career guidance, information about available opportunities and services that can support their personal and professional development.
During the event, Mhlauli highlighted the importance of building stronger partnerships between government, the private sector and educational institutions to address the challenges facing young people.
She emphasised the need to create clearer pathways from education and skills development to employment and entrepreneurship, encouraging young people to make use of the programmes and opportunities available to them.
The expo forms part of broader efforts to help young people improve their livelihoods, participate in the economy and build sustainable futures.
