Education department MEC to officiates the national teaching awards ceremony
The MEC for the department of education Mr. Abraham Vosloo will officiates the national teaching awards (NTAs) ceremony aimed at recognizing, celebrating and honoring teachers and school principals who have performed remarkably well and showcased excellence in education. The ceremony will take place at Old CRC Building, Kimberley on the 25th August 2026. Provincial spokesperson of the department of education Mr. Geoffrey Van Der Merwe says the national teaching awards is a prestigious event where the hard work, diligence and commitment of teachers are recognized and awarded for their outstanding leadership across the school spectrum. Van Der Merwe says the provincial winner in each category will represent the province at the national awards ceremony to take place on the first October 2026.
