Minister to launch digital computer centre in Eksteenskuil

Communications and Digital Technologies Minister Solly Malatsi is expected to officially launch the Eksteenskuil Digital Computer Centre on Thursday.

The centre was established through a R2 million investment by the Kgodiso Development Fund and will provide learners, young people, farmers and the wider community with access to computers, digital literacy training and online resources.

Government says the initiative aims to strengthen education, skills development, entrepreneurship and economic participation while helping to bridge the digital divide in the remote farming community of Eksteenskuil near Upington.
