The Government, Communication and Information System in the Northern Cape has published a notice on the upcoming activities for this youth month. GCIS in an official statement says this months opportunities for young people have been lined up to explore skills training, learnerships, bursaries, and entrepreneurship offerings. Among the first of these activities is an entrepreneurship expo which will be showcasing the various opportunities available to youth within sports, technology, agriculture, and manufacturing industries on Sunday 16 June 2024. Furthermore, other activities include an initiative by the NYDA to assist the youth through a GET you(th) qualified initiative, which will be assisting 100 young South Africans to pay off their student debt and obtain their qualifications, their united 4you(th) competition which seeks to support NGO's/NPO/NPC's who have committed themselves to addressing poverty, unemployment and inequality in communities.
