The South African Police Service is calling on residents to assist them in their fight against crime. The police says they have received a number of leads of crime cases from members of the community ranging from rape, robbery and murder. Police spokesperson sergeant Timothy Sam says provincial
commissioner Lieutenant general Koliswa Otola urged the public to rate the
police efforts in fighting contact crimes by participating in the "RATE
OUR SERVICE" online survey to assist the police in improving services.
Otola says all perpetrators of contact crimes will be brought to book. Sam
