The MEC for education, Zolile Monakali alongside other role players recently paid a visit to the school to address matters at hand that hampers a conducive learning environment.

The Northern Cape department of education said that it will work with the school management team and school governing body of the SA Van Wyk high school to curb operational challenges, which affects the quality of learning and teaching at this school. The MEC for education, Zolile Monakali alongside other role players recently paid a visit to the school to address matters at hand that hampers a conducive learning environment. This school was applauded by Andrew Louw, ActionSA Northern Cape Premier Candidate, for a job well done under difficult circumstances as these learners according to Louw did not have access to essential learning tools and devices which are key for modern day teaching and learning to take place.
