The MEC for cogstha Mr Bentley Vass has been sworn in as interim premier for the Northern Cape as the premier Dr Zamani Saul undertakes an outbound mission to Singapore and Vietnam. According to a statement by the spokesperson for the premiers office Bronwyn Abrahams, Dr Zamani Saul is leading a delegation consisting of members of the executive council, senior officials from provincial government including a business delegation to Singapore and Vietnam on an invitation issued by the South African commissioner. Thomas-Abrahams further provides that this mission is being conducted for the purpose of exploring possible areas of cooperation with the different government agencies /institutions and business executives on investment, trade, toruism, research , development and cultural exchange while the business delegation accompanying the premier which consists of suppliers in pecan nut, raisins and wine will get an opportunity to participate in the food and beverage Asia expo 2023.
