The Roodepan police says they are investigating an inquest following the discovery of the body of an unknown man next to the Barkly road on Monday yesterday. Police spokesperson sergeant Timothy Sam says the unknown man was declared deceased on the scene by the Kimberley emergency services and was wearing a black adidas top, grey and charcoal pants, brown hemisphere belt, blue coloured overall pants and black ankle boots with laces. Sam says the police do not have any information regarding his identity and therefore request the assistance of members of the community in identifying the deceased. He says all information will be treated confidentially.
